Speech translation in Google Meet is now rolling out to mobile devices

Google is rolling out speech translation in Google Meet to mobile devices, enabling real-time translation between meetings where participants speak different languages. The feature supports six languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian) and uses voice synthesis to approximate the original speaker's voice. It remains in early alpha with inconsistent reliability across device combinations.
