Proximity Measure of Information Object Features for Solving the Problem of Their Identification in Information Systems

Volodymyr Yuzefovych proposes a new proximity measure for identifying when information objects from multiple independent sources refer to the same physical entity. The approach combines probabilistic measures for quantitative features with possibility measures for qualitative features, eliminating the need for value transformation. The work validates against standard axioms and presents multiple variants for multi-feature object matching.
