Humanoid robot runs faster than any person ever has in a half marathon during all-bot race in China

Honor, a Chinese smartphone maker, won an all-robot half marathon in Beijing with a humanoid robot that completed the 21km race in 50 minutes 26 seconds—faster than the human world record of 57 minutes. The robot features a design inspired by elite athletes with 95-centimeter legs and an in-house liquid-cooling system. The achievement represents dramatic progress from the inaugural race last year.
