Firestorm Labs raises $82M to take drone factories into the field

Firestorm Labs, a defense startup, raised $82 million in Series B funding to scale xCell, a containerized drone manufacturing platform capable of producing configurable drone systems in under 24 hours. The platform enables rapid drone production at or near conflict zones, with capabilities for surveillance, electronic warfare, and lethal operations. The funding was led by Washington Harbour Partners and includes participation from major defense contractors including Lockheed Martin and In-Q-Tel.
