CATL has unveiled a new Shenxing LFP battery that charges from 10–98% in 6 minutes 27 seconds, with the standard 10–80% window taking only 3 minutes 44 seconds. The battery maintains exceptional performance in extreme cold (–30°C), charging to 98% in 9 minutes compared to BYD's Blade 2.0 which takes 12 minutes at the same temperature. After 1,000 fast-charge cycles, the battery retains over 90% of its original capacity.
