JR Central will deploy premium Shinkansen cabins with two integrated technologies: windows featuring embedded 5G antennas developed by AGC, and NTT's Personalized Sound Zone (PSZ) noise-cancelling system. The embedded antennas maintain line-of-sight to cellular base stations, enabling stable 5G connectivity at the Shinkansen's 285 km/h speeds. Deployments will initially pilot on six trains.
